Privacy statement

Mallacoota Cares is the trading name of Mallacoota’s Community Health Infrastructure and Resilience Fund Incorporated (CHIRF), ABN 42 598 645 477. This statement covers what happens to information you give us through this website.

What we collect

When you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message. When you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your name and email address. We only use these to reply to you and to send you the newsletter.

Where it goes

Your message is emailed to us and a copy is kept on this website’s server in Australia, so an enquiry can’t be lost if an email goes astray. We don’t sell or share your details with anyone else.

To stop spam, the forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is filling them in. Each message also passes through our website provider’s spam filter before it reaches us.

Cookies

This website uses a cookie that the forms need to work. It doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Donations

Donations are made on the CHIRF website at chirf.org, which handles the details you give there.

Other websites

Links to Facebook, My Aged Care, the Mallacoota Medical Centre and other websites take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
